Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder of a complex nature and whose origin remains unclear. Considered to be primarily of an hereditary nature, the genetic components are yet to be clearly identified. Diagnostic improvements have unearthed a greater prevalence in society but much more is needed to enable effective treatment and therapies; and more importantly, support those families who are 'battling' bravely with children suffering Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Please support the continued research into Autism and the much needed help for those involved. 

Depression & other 'Mood Disorders' are not as uncommon amongst our elite athletes as one might believe. Many of our past & current players have experienced these illnesses; to varying degrees and with differing outcomes.
